Investigations by the Nas: the two used lasers and tecar, but do not have the titles

GROSSETO. The carabinieri of the anti-sophistication and health units (Nas) have recently discovered a false physiatrist and a false physiotherapist operating in a gym in Grosseto.

The military, who intervened as part of a national campaign to check the gyms that led them to check this single structure at the moment, found inside it electromedical equipment for therapeutic treatments such as lasers, tecar and shock waves in use at two men, Italian citizens born in 1961 and 1964 respectively, and also stamps showing the qualifications of physiotherapist and physiatrist.

The subsequent investigation has revealed that in reality the two do not have university diplomas or qualifications that authorize them to qualify in that way, nor can they exercise the medical treatments typical of those professional figures.

The carabinieri denounced them both for abusive exercise of a profession and seized the devices used for rehabilitation therapies as a precaution. The location of the gym is being examined.
