ASCOLI – Ugo Ambrosi, professor of artistic gymnastics, first at the firefighters’ gym in Porta Romana then in that of Monticelli and finally at the citadel of sport passed away at the age of 76.
«Ugo was a great sportsman, a great coach but above all a careful educator of many boys and girls. With him we opened the gymnastics gym in our city. He gave us many teachings and a thousand laughs “recalls the municipal councilor of Ascoli, Massimiliano Brugni.” We mourn the premature loss of Ugo Ambrosi, Man of Sports, Real Man, Great Teacher, Great Professor, Great Educator of many generations of young people – says Nico Stallone, municipal councilor for sport – Gymnastics loses one of its pillars, a man who made the city of Ascoli shine with excellent results, a great man who together with Rosito Scaramucci and Gigi Pagliacci made artistic gymnastics great for Ascoli and which fortunately has a future thanks to the pupils of Ugo, Gigi, Francesca, Michele. “The funeral will be held on Monday at 3.30 pm in the church of San Luca in Villa Pigna.
