Viterbo – The fourth dose of the anti Covid vaccine in Tuscia officially starts today.
Although yesterday, in a completely extraordinary way, some vaccines were already administered at the vaccination hub at Grotticella. For a computer misunderstanding to the regional agenda, in fact, some people had managed to find availability in Viterbo as early as yesterday: they presented themselves to receive the fourth dose but without finding feedback.
After heated protests and the intervention of the police to calm the spirits, the ASL managed to take the situation in hand, however, recruiting all the staff and administering the second booster dose to users.
This new dose is aimed at the over 60s and frail people aged 12 and over, included in the circular of the Ministry of Health.
“The administration – says the ASL of Viterbo – must take place at least 120 days after the administration of the booster dose (third dose) or from the last infection (date of the positive diagnostic test)”.
To guarantee the right access, without creating crowds, timetables have been drawn up in the various hubs: Santa Maria della Grotticella in Viterbo, from Monday to Saturday, from 9 to 17; Sala Mice in Civita Castellana, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9 to 14; day center in Tarquinia, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9 to 14; Acquapendente hospital, Monday and Wednesday, from 9 to 14.
“As for the methods of access – the ASL of Viterbo still knows – the indications are as follows: second booster upon reservation (fourth dose); primary cycles and first booster dose free access (It is recommended to reach the center at least one hour before closing); children under the age of 12 free access to the vaccination center of Santa Maria della Grotticella in Viterbo, on Saturdays, from 10 to 12 “.
