Sunday afternoon, the naming of the gymnasium of the school in via Varese was held for Alessio Allegri, the Garbagnatese champion of the OSL died on the basketball court during a Serie C Silver game.
A due act that naming, since the gym in via Varese is the pitch in which Alessio was the protagonist of many matches and many training sessions, both of the team in which he played and of the young people that he himself coached with passion.

After the mayor spoke Enzo Marrapodi, president of the OSL Basket who, with a voice broken by emotion, thanked, underlining that for him Alessio was a bit like a son.
Don Claudio recalled the moments in which Alessio came to the oratory, underlining the brightness, the joy and the will to live, saying that people like this are a real treasure. Lastly, his wife Claudia spoke, also visibly excited: she thanked everyone, underlining how important this title was, because that gym was her second home and it is beautiful also for his son Liam that this place is dedicated to him.
After the speeches, the uncovering of the plaque by Alessio’s family took place: parents, brother, wife and little Liam.
After the simple ceremony, on the basketball court of the gym there was an exhibition of the young people of the two groups trained by Alessio in the last year: the current women’s Under 17 and the Beginners.
