The prosecutor, which has launched an investigation, will now have to ascertain whether all this had been reported at the time of the vaccination which the young woman had undergone on May 25th at the open day in Chiavari.
On June 3, the 18-year-old went to the emergency room in Lavagna for the first time with very serious symptoms: severe headache and photophobia. Subjected to CT scan and neurological examinations, which had not revealed any dysfunctions, she was sent home. The girl’s condition, however, worsened and two days later Camilla returned to the emergency room with motor deficits. At that point, the cerebral hemorrhage emerged from the instrumental tests. The young woman, transferred to the San Martino hospital, lost her life yesterday, after two surgeries carried out in an attempt to reduce cerebral thrombosis and intracranial pressure.
