Health, control room established for the Pancreas Unit Center Network
A control room for the implementation of a network of “Pancreas Unit” Centers has been established in the Cabinet Office of the Minister of Health.
The control room, in which highly professional experts participate, will have the task of coordinating the implementation and implementation strategies of the Network in conjunction with all levels of the National Health Service.
The Control Room includes three working groups (epidemiology, prevention and research; assistance; training and accreditation) coordinated by Prof. Sergio Alfieri, Director of the Abdominal and Endocrine Metabolic Medical and Surgical Sciences Department of the “A. Gemini” IRCCS.
