Dorita Of Women she is 32 years old, she was born and raised in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples) but lives in London with her partner, Ester, who is one year older. For about a year, she has been facing a very tiring battle: that of having to live with a cancer not operable.

Specifically, Dorita suffered from triple-negative advanced breast cancer, with metastases to lymph nodes, liver, pancreas and bone. A rare tumor for which there are no official treatments at the moment, but only some experimental therapies which, in most cases, are very expensive. Among other things, the tumor was not diagnosed in time. Her partner Ester, originally from Ravenna, said: «Last summer we were in Sardinia, she had swelling in her left breast but months before she had had a checkup and an ultrasound. We were told they were simple benign cysts, but the tumor kept growing. As well as her breasts. That’s why, once back in London, during a new visit the doctors noticed something suspicious ».

The first hope offered by doctors is an experimental therapy with a new drug. Dorita manages to achieve a 50% decrease in tumor masses, but after the first encouraging results, her body stops responding to the treatment. And there is a new increase of 25% in breast and liver metastases. “Dorita’s only hope is to change therapy immediately whenever she stops responding. Unfortunately, however, very few of these are free and it is necessary to resort to very expensive treatments privately. Dorita was a manager in Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant chain, but after she got sick she started doing smart working, but with a decrease in salary “- explains Ester -” She must never stop smiling and must win this battle, against all odds. .
