Hepatitis C vaccine, thanks to Covid will arrive in 5 years

A vaccine against hepatitis C within five years, thanks to research on Covid. The announcement is made by the Nobel laureate who discovered the virus in 1989, Michael Houghton. Together with colleagues from the Li Ka Shing Applied Virology Institute at the University of Alberta, Canada, he is testing a recombinant capable of inducing neutralizing antibody production, thus making it more difficult for the RNA virus to escape the immune response.
