Iag invests $ 1.5 million in Futurely, the digital startup for the university

Its mission, as confirmed by those directly involved, is to offer an innovative orientation path and career coaching services in digital mode for young people entering the academic world.
Born thanks to the intuition of two young Italian startuppers, Elisa Piscitelli and Mariapaola Testa (both graduates from Milan Polytechnic and, respectively, from MIT in Boston and Harvard), Futurely has just announced the closure of 1.5 million dollars jointly led by Italian Angels for Growth and Angels4Women and signed by other private investors, including Diego Piacentini (the former Vp of Amazon and Extraordinary Commissioner for the Digital Agenda with the Renzi Government), Riccardo Zacconi (the dad of the video game Candy Crush) and Fabio Mondini (Founder of Cross Border Growth Capital and Venture Partner).
For the two young entrepreneurs, who have already earned a place on the Forbes Italia Under 30 list in 2021, the deal marks the first big step forward in the development of a model that has shared ) mentors, professors and referents in the field of transversal skills and guidance from the best Italian schools.
In fact, the platform uses techniques developed by Harvard expert psychologists (and at the prestigious American university the startup was selected by both the I-Lab and the Rock Accelerator) and proposes a path that starts from self-knowledge (passions, interests , skills) and comes to present the university world in a structured and complete way, using a series of digital media accessible asynchronously. To date there are already a few hundred high schools and thousands of students, both in Italy and in the United States, who have turned to Futurely.
