INDIBA Launches Program to Promote Employee Well-being and Work Stress Management

“INDIBA Launches Program to Promote Emotional, Psychological, and Personal Well-being of Staff”

INDIBA, a leader in the health sector, has reaffirmed its commitment to the well-being of its workers by launching a comprehensive program designed to address work stress and promote a healthy and productive work environment. The program, developed in partnership with consulting firm BH Bienestar, aims to provide emotional, psychological, and personal support to all INDIBA employees.

The program’s holistic approach and adaptability to different cultural and linguistic environments reflect INDIBA’s commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of its employees. It focuses on the comprehensive care and well-being of the company’s staff, aligning with INDIBA’s values and objectives in the health sector.

The initiative provides services to all INDIBA employees, regardless of their work location, with a focus on the individual as a whole. It addresses both work-related and personal well-being, reflecting INDIBA’s vision of supporting its staff in all aspects of their lives.

The program encompasses two main areas of activity. The first, Emotional Well-being Care, offers free and confidential psychological assistance, skills coaching sessions, educational webinars, and a well-being portal and mobile application. The second, Personal Well-being Care, provides personal assistance, legal and financial advice, and resources to support employees in their everyday lives.

“We want not only to be a company for our employees, but one of them,” says Nieves Arias, HR Director of INDIBA. “That is why we have created and intensely promote this very innovative project where we stand next to each of our colleagues, helping them at all times whether they face physical, emotional, or family problems.”

At INDIBA’s main headquarters in Spain, employees have access to unlimited psychology and coaching sessions, as well as support from personal, legal, and financial advisors. In subsidiaries outside Spain, similar services are offered in multiple languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, and English. The program guarantees complete confidentiality and offers guidance to Human Resources management for specific situations.

“The first results confirm a positive and rewarding response from employees, reflected in a high level of commitment in the company surveys, with 92.21% of high or very high commitment,” says Nieves Arias. “The initiative not only benefits employees at an individual level but also contributes positively to the culture and general performance of INDIBA.”

The European Network for Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP) reports that every euro invested in employee assistance programs can save between 2.5 and 4.8 euros in absenteeism costs. Additionally, happy and satisfied employees tend to be more loyal, productive, and creative. INDIBA’s focus on the well-being of its employees is not only beneficial for the individuals but also for the company’s overall success.
