Dr. Deanne Mraz, dermatologist at Yale New Haven Hospital and president and co-founder of Modern Dermatology, explains that «The skin is a reflection of what happens inside the body, so when the body is in balance and optimal health, the skin will reflect this. Good hydration promotes general health and the body’s ability to function». The nutritionist American Kimberly Snyder, who works with the major Hollywood stars, recognizes that «When you are hydrated, your joints are lubricated, your skin is nourished and your hair follicles are able to grow healthily».
