The volunteers followed a 12-week fitness program consisting of a variety of activities, including stretching, resistance training and sprinting.

In addition, all participants followed a food plan specially designed for research.

The experimental sample was divided into two subgroups: one trained between 7:30 and 8:30; the other, on the other hand, repeated the same activities in a time slot between 18:00 and 20:00.

In this way, scientists have discovered that there is a difference between males and females: the diversity in hormones, biological clocks and the sleep-wake cycle, in fact, also determines an opposite time in which the two genders should engage in sports. .
