Italy always anchored to cash, despite the acceleration on digital

Despite the progress of the lockdown and the acceleration of the digitalization of payments, Italy still remains a country strongly anchored to cash. We remain at the bottom of the European ranking for the number of cashless transactions per capita, with an opposite trend compared to the rest of Europe.
