The English paparazzi have been very busy in recent days, between King Charles’ health problems, Kate Middleton’s hospitalization and the visits of her husband, Prince William, heir to the throne, to the clinic. A throne, the British one, which does not seem particularly stable these days.
The emptiness of Queen Elizabeth II is felt now more than ever, but what we wonder is how the Princess of Wales managed to escape prying eyes and leave the hospital in absolute secrecy.

Last January 16 she spent two weeks in the London Clinic and her husband visited her while Natasha Archer, her assistant, brought her gifts and flowers (but not the three little George, Charlotte and Louis, who were banned from entering the facility). Now official sources confirm that he is making great improvements and the press imagines that after Easter he could return to serve his country. The conditions seemed serious, but then everything took place in the best possible way, in great secrecy even for the most intimate circle of the royal couple. To the point that the statement was made public only after the operation had taken place.
Kate did not arrive by helicopter but chose a more private arrival to obtain greater privacy. Not to mention the fact that she was in the same place (for a prostate problem). King Charles was hospitalized and Queen Camilla visited him several times before being discharged with a treatment plan. The sovereign visited the new one in the clinic before the operation, which corroborates the theory of a great understanding between them.
The Princess of Wales herself, after an abdominal operation (as officially announced on 17 January), can continue her treatment at the house of Windsor. The communication strategy, however, is somewhat hermetic and lapidary because the Palace has explained that she will share updates on her state of health only when she is strictly interesting to the public.
Kate Widdleton had to postpone social events and publicly apologized for this, with the desire to return soon to resume her court duties. Her husband William also postponed public commitments to be close to her during her convalescence but officially resumed them on January 11 at the Headlingley Stadium in Leeds for a charity event.
In the meantime, the question is whether the royal couple will attend the funeral of Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, who has just passed away.
