SNK announced that the Steam version of the 2D fighting fighting game “King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match Final Edition” will start the Beta test of the Rollback Net Code from October 20th to 30th.
“The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Showdown Ultimate Edition” is an enhanced version of “The King of Fighters ’98”, which is recognized as the highest masterpiece in the “King of Fighters” series. Based on the large-scale video game version of “The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Showdown”, the balance is adjusted and the character skills are revised. A total of 64 characters are included. A new “Ultimate Mode” that can freely combine the elements of “Advanced Mode” and “Extra Mode” has been added, providing multiple play modes and supporting online battles.
This beta test is a community test for the major revision of the Steam version of the online battle mode.
