The “Icica” Association Organizes a Day of Theater, Music, and Art in Lamezia Terme

Lamezia Terme – The “Icica” association recently hosted a day dedicated to sharing, community, and conviviality at the former gym in Vico I° Belvedere.

On the morning of April 25th, several local theater companies, including Mammut Teatro, Nuncepace Artistidistratta, TeatroP with the Boa Vibracao band, Scenari Visibili, and TipTeatro, came together to offer spectators captivating theatrical performances and readings. The event was further enhanced by musical vibrations provided by the Animula cultural association, under the direction of Claudio Fittante. Visual art also had its place at the event, with the exhibition of works by local artists Marta Franzè and Saso Malvaso in an outdoor artistic display.

Leading up to the event, the entire park area underwent structural redevelopment, including the renovation of public toilets. Additionally, various street art works were created, along with a temporary installation by the children of the Liceo Classico-Artistico F. Fiorentino. Their artistic contributions added new colors and value to the space.

The organizers expressed their gratitude towards the neighborhood residents for embracing the initiative with enthusiasm and positivity. The ICICA association has been actively involved in the social promotion and revaluation of urban spaces in a state of abandonment in Lamezia Terme for over a year.

Overall, the day of theater, music, and art was a success, bringing together the community and revitalizing a precious urban space.
