The register for organ and tissue donation declarations will gradually begin operations on March 18, 2024. In the first step, it is possible to deposit a declaration of organ and tissue donation in the register using an identification document with eID function (e.g. ID card). “A decision documented in the organ donation register ensures clarity and security,” said the Federal Minister of Health.
