The term assistance dogs refers to dogs capable of helping people with disabilities and we are not referring only to guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired, but to all dogs that assist people with physical, cognitive or mental difficulties, helping them to carry out some functions and tasks that the individual would not be able to carry out alone.
