Marco Pivato, journalist, science writer and collaborator of Salute, died on Tuesday around 9pm when he fell from the fifth floor of the Savoia Excelsior Palace hotel in Trieste, where he was staying. Marco was 42 years old, he was married to Alessandra and had a very young daughter, Caterina.

He was the son of Professor Stefano, emeritus professor of Contemporary History at the University of Urbino where he had been Dean of Languages ​​and Rector. In 2009 he obtained the “Franco Prattico” Master in Science Communication from Sissa of Trieste, specializing in scientific publishing and between 2010 and 2011 he had practiced journalism at the offices of the National Daily QN.
