In principle, there are great beauty tricks with honey for the whole body. You can find a few of them below:

Peeling and masks

Simply take a generous spoonful of honey and rub it thoroughly on your face. Massage the skin in a circular motion to promote blood circulation. Then let the simple honey mask take effect. How long depends on how much time you have available. Ideally, the mask works for half an hour. For a quick morning routine, 5 minutes is enough. Use warm water to rinse.

A mask made from honey, buttermilk and egg

With these three ingredients you get several nutrients that will pamper your skin. You make it with one egg yolk, a tablespoon of buttermilk and a teaspoon of honey. Apply the mixture to the face and leave it to work for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

A notice: People often underestimate how sticky honey is and how quickly it gets where you don’t want it. The masks are best used with your hair well tied or if you plan to wash them afterwards anyway.

Honey and ground almonds in equal parts (e.g. 2 teaspoons each, depending on body size) are enough to prepare an effective body peeling, which you simply rub onto your body in circular movements in the shower. Then rinse with warm water and enjoy your smooth skin.

Facial peeling with baking soda

This time, instead of almonds, take baking powder and mix 1 part of it with two parts of honey (e.g. ½ tsp and 1 tsp). Massage your face with it, rinse and you’re done. If you prepare a larger quantity, you can also use this for the whole body.

Honey as a makeup remover

Believe it or not, bee honey actually has the ability to remove make-up and unclog pores at the same time. To make things even better, simply mix it with a little coconut or jojoba oil. This is also a good idea because otherwise the honey will be too thick to apply and will need to be diluted. Rub the remover onto the skin, avoiding the eyes, and rinse with warm water.

Make your own natural body lotion with lemons

Anyone who suffers from dry skin in winter will especially appreciate this lotion. The lemon supplies the skin with important vitamin C and is used as follows:

Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Mix in a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of olive oil. Use the lotion as usual. After leaving it to take effect for around 20 minutes, you should wash the whole thing off with a cloth dipped in warm water. Avoid showering afterwards, as this will rinse off the nourishing active ingredients.

Honey beauty recipes: pamper your lips!

Before treating your lips with bee honey, it is recommended to exfoliate them to remove old skin cells and allow the active ingredients to penetrate better. To use honey for chapped and dry lips, do the following:

Massage the honey a little into your lips. Let it work for 3 minutes. You can then wipe it off with a soft cloth (not water, so that a small amount remains on your lips).
