Guardians of Nature is the title of the initiative that Huawei and WWF Italia presented this morning near the Cratere degli Astroni nature reserve, in Naples.
The goal is to safeguard the biodiversity of some of the state nature reserves managed by the association, in particular those of Orbetello e Burano in Tuscany and precisely by Astroni, in Campania, through the use of devices, cloud and artificial intelligence, according to the model created in collaboration with the technical partner Rainforest Connection.

The event was an opportunity to present the first environmental findings collected following the installation of the devices inside the natural reserves: the Nature Guardians initiative, brought to Italy in collaboration with the WWF, is part of the as part of Tech4All, Huawei’s global program which “places technology at the service of the environment and people with the aim of promoting nature conservation and digital inclusion”.
