Il dottor Roberto Andreini, dal 2009 primario della medicina interna dell’ospedale Lotti di Pontedera e dal 2016 responsabile dell’area medica della Ausl Toscana nord ovest, è il nuovo direttore del dipartimento medico della stessa azienda sanitaria. Originario della Valdera, si è laureato a Pisa in medicina e chirurgia nel 1983, specializzato in endocrinologia nel 1986 e in medicina interna d’urgenza nel 1998.
“L’incarico che ricoprirà Roberto Andreini è particolarmente importante e delicato – hanno sottolineato dalla Ausl -, sia per il numero di strutture complesse che operano all’interno del dipartimento, oltre 45, sia per la rilevanza che tali specialistiche rivestono nell’organizzazione sanitaria. Infatti, la medicina interna, la pneumologia, la gastroenterologia, la cardiologia, la neurologia, l’infettivologia, la nefrologia, l’endocrinologia, l’ematologia e altre branche rientrano nel più ampio contenitore del dipartimento”
La direzione aziendale si è complimentata con il dottor Andreini “per il fondamentale incarico che andrà a ricoprire in momento fondamentale per il ritorno alla normalità dopo il lungo e difficile periodo pandemico”.
