The next few days will still be in the grip of bad weather
In the next few days the weather will not find peace, there will be no particular changes in general circulation. In fact, in Italy, phases of bad weather will continue to alternate in series which will bring a lot of rain and still a lot of snow on the mountains.
On Wednesday 6 March, Italy will be crossed by yet another cyclonic vortex which will move rapidly towards the east. This will cause marked atmospheric instability, with rain and local thunderstorms in the North and in part of the Centre, in particular in Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, and in some sectors of Marche and Abruzzo. In the South, however, the meteorological picture will remain calmer, although there will be episodes of rain, especially in the Tyrrhenian Calabria and in the mountainous areas.
Overall, temperatures will drop, favoring snowfall even at altitudes close to 600/700 meters in the Alps and around 1000 meters in the central Apennines.
On Thursday 7 March we will see a temporary strengthening of atmospheric pressure. The day promises to be full of good weather, with partly cloudy skies over much of the country. However, slight instability is expected, first along the central Adriatic coasts and then, in the afternoon, also in the South.
Thus we arrive at the eve of the weekend: Friday 8 March will essentially be a transition day, characterized by a new drop in atmospheric pressure. If initially the weather will remain generally good, except for greater cloud cover in the North, a worsening is expected in the afternoon which will mainly affect the Northwest and Sardinia, where precipitation will gradually become more widespread, especially in the evening.
This will be the prelude to a weekend that promises to be once again marked by bad weather due to the arrival of two disturbances in series, almost twins, one more intense than the other.
