Not only cancer but also this problem is one of the most serious and widespread

by admin

We all care about our health and that of our loved ones. Feeling good means living a happy and peaceful life, dedicated to well-being and tranquility.

Our body is like a machine and, to make it work well, we need to treat it with care. Paying attention to nutrition, physical activity and avoiding excesses are the first rules for physical and even mental health.

However, we do not always manage to be loyal to duty and an occasional cheating is part of normalcy. When it comes to health problems, the first that comes to mind because it is considered the most subtle, is certainly the tumor. In recent years, there has been a lot of talk about this very serious disease, which can develop suddenly and spread rapidly.

However, there is also another pathology, equally widespread and, unfortunately, very underestimated. It can develop in adulthood, but many begin to suffer from it as a child. Let’s see what it is.

Not only cancer but also this problem is one of the most serious and widespread

We refer to obesity, a condition characterized by the accumulation of fat disproportionately to normal. A study conducted by the WHO and reported by the National Institute of Health reveals the data of this increasingly widespread disease. In the past, obesity was thought to affect only developed countries, but in recent years there has also been an increase in Africa and Asia.

The origin of the disease is mainly linked to lifestyle and incorrect eating habits. Often, however, other disorders are also hidden behind a condition of pathological overweight. One of these is certainly linked to eating disorders, which can have serious physical as well as psychological consequences. Social relationships could also be affected, because the person with obesity or an eating disorder may want to isolate themselves and hide from the eyes of others.

What about the other possible consequences?

Obesity and other pathologies

Just as reported by the WHO data, those who are obese risk developing diseases related to the heart and more. Stroke, diabetes, hypertension and colon cancer are among them.

But then, what solution can we find to all this? The first thing to do is to prevent: prevention could be the best and most effective weapon. It is important to eat properly, but it is not enough. You need to think about your lifestyle, the way you eat and not just what you eat.

Acting since childhood, without risking finding yourself in adulthood having to deal with a problem that you carry with you from childhood. Loving yourself means taking care of yourself at 360 degrees, mentally and physically. Not only cancer but also this problem is one of the most serious and widespread and therefore be careful not to underestimate it.
