Novartis Hosts Event in Madrid to Discuss Biomedical Innovation

In addition, the company continues its work in chemical and biological therapies.
Experts like Ricardo Moure, Dr. José Luis Zamorano, and Dr. Adolfo Gómez discussed the transformative potential of these platforms, bringing us closer to precision medicine. During the event, the round table ‘The three Cs: united to generate Commitment, Trust and Collaboration of impact’ delved into the necessity of public-private collaboration in reimagining medicine. Carina Escobar, president of the Platform of Patient Organizations, emphasized the need for patient entities to have a more active role in health policies and for professionals to improve communication skills for shared decision-making with patients.
Dr. José María de la Torre Hernández and Dr. Yolanda Gilaberte also stressed the importance of collaboration within the ecosystem to raise awareness about pathologies and reduce stigma around diseases.
