A New Ligure (Alessandria) a 50-year-old man of Albanian origins, driving an SUV, attempted to run over a 41-year-old, his compatriot, with whom he had been having a relationship. Then, getting out of the car, he violently attacked her. The woman was saved by a retired policeman, who was walking in the area at that moment. The attacker was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
