The speed with which Sars Cov 2 changes is almost equal to that with which it spreads. A new recombinant of the Omicron variant, different from XE and XJ, and which includes portions of the Omicron sub-variants has been sequenced in Veneto at the Genetics, Cytogenetics and Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory of the Ospedale dell’Angelo in Mestre (Venice). BA.1
