On a trip to the cities of art with an electric van: socialization and environmental sustainability go hand in hand in the new SerDP project

Mantua and Ferrara were the first two destinations: from Palazzo Te to the Estense Castle, from Piazza Sordello to the Palazzo dei Diamanti, the architectural and cultural beauties enriched these two important experiences, together with the possibility of socializing and forming a group. “Extraordinary opportunities that contribute to enriching the experiential baggage of people who need, like all of us, to continuously bring beauty and sociality into their lives – underlines Chiara Gabrielli, Director of the Pathological Addictions Program of the Modena Local Health Authority –. Moments of socialization are fundamental in everyone’s life, even more so in the weakest sections of the population. This project was born and lives also thanks to the availability of the Laboratory and SerDP professionals, to their enthusiasm in getting involved to build something beautiful for users”.

“We will not limit ourselves to cities of art, but we will also visit places of natural and landscape interest: in short, any place that can make those who live there feel good” guarantees Patrizia Vallone, Coordinator of the Health Professions of the SerDP of Modena.

The electric van, acquired as part of the process that sees the USL company committed to promoting environmental sustainability and combating pollution through the activity of the Mobility Management Service directed by Mariangela Tufano, thus enriches the fleet of provision of the SerDP of Modena. To ensure proximity of intervention and prevention, professionals also have a mobile clinic, a street unit and cars for home care at their disposal.
