Regarding the news that has appeared in the media in recent days, the Modena Local Health Authority reiterates its commitment to the Pievepelago, Fiumalbo and Riolunato district to build a long-term project that offers concrete responses to citizensā needs; a project that involves various local entities ā professionals themselves, trade unions, associations and mayors ā with the aim not only of guaranteeing services to the population, but also of enhancing the specificities of these areas, including the tourist vocation.
On the topic of response to emergenciesto reassure the citizens, they also go to the Pievepelago area improve interventions on time-dependent pathologies with the contribution of the entire network of the 118 territorial emergency service, including daytime and nighttime air rescue. Since mid-April the USL company has in fact the hourly coverage of the nursing car increased present now 24/7 (previously it was active at night and on weekends), reinforcing the contribution of the voluntary associations ā AVAP Fiumalbo, AVSA di Riolunato and Misericordia di Pievepelago -, which already ensure and ensured their presence on that territory.
The response to emergencies is therefore guaranteed, and will be further strengthened thanks to gods āproximity care teamsā: doctors and nurses will be involved, already in service at the Pievepelago Community House, who, thanks also to the introduction of new medical technologies, will be able to respond even more punctually to the needs of citizens.
Always in this logic of proximity, the Local Health Authority is also working to provide responses to low complexity needs thanks to the network of professionals active in the area, for limit patient movements as much as possible, especially those residing in more distant areas. This will represent an added value particularly during the tourist season. It is being worked for enhance the professionals who already work in the district going to build, together with the fundamental contribution of General Medicine, a long-term project through professional teams that are increasingly integrated with each other, also with a view to attracting other medical figures interested in being part of this network project in the future, which could be example for other mountain areas.
