The “Center for Computational and Technological Medicine” is launched in Liguria. This is in fact one of the six agreements on the flagship projects of the PNRR signed today at Palazzo Chigi.
“The project proposed by the Liguria Region serves to create a” Center for Computational and Technological Medicine “, said the presidengte of the Council Mario Draghi, who underlined how it unites āscientific, technological and clinical infrastructures in innovative ways and has the ambition to become a reference point in the sectorā.
Specifically, the draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Region and the Ministry for Regional Affairs and Autonomies, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of University and Research on the methods of collaboration for the realization of the Flag Project of the Liguria Region ‘Center of Computational and Technological Medicine’ of national importance is aimed at transferring the results of research relating to the use of computational calculation to biological models and management programs of robotic technologies for biomedical use to the clinic and their subsequent development as prototypes. .

Financing has been defined for a total of 405 million euros: 280 million euros as part of the Inail investment program among the ‘real estate investment initiatives of high social utility in the healthcare construction sector’ in relation to the acquisition of the areas , to the design and construction of structures for healthcare and translational and basic research activities related to clinical activities, 60 million euros from the former article 20 of law 67/88 relating to technological, technical and furniture equipment, 65 million euros from the NRP, for additional technological equipment, basic research infrastructures and programs of basic and translational scientific activity.
