Pokemon Center said that its 21 Japanese physical stores including Pokemon Center, Pokemon Store, Pokemon Cafe, Picachu Sweets will be closed from August 28. These include physical stores at New Chitose Airport, Narita Airport and Kansai Airport. As some stores are holding the “しらべる君とポケモンセンターピカピカ Survey” event, the event will also end early on August 27. Currently, the only physical stores that will continue to operate are Pokemon Center in Kanazawa, Aeon Pokemon Store in Okayama, Emiful MASAKI Pokemon Store in Ehime, and AMU PLAZA Pokemon Store in Oita. If you want to shop, you can still use the online shopping service.

In fact, the Pokemon Store near the tourist attraction of Momotaro had announced its formal closure earlier, and the clerk specially left a message “Thank you very much for your love” at the end of the receipt, which made the guests very moved. I just hope that these temporarily closed stores will eventually resume business.
