Ubisoft announced today (4th) that the remake of “Prince of Persia The Sands of Time” has changed its development team to Ubisoft Montreal, the studio responsible for the original trilogy.

“Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” remake will be held at the “Ubisoft Forward Online Conference” in 2020. In the game, the prince will be able to use the dagger to control time, and make good use of the power of reversing, slowing, accelerating and freezing time to resist enemy attacks.

The game was originally expected to be released on PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms in January 2021. However, there were two subsequent extensions, one of which was announced in 2020 to be delayed until March 2021, followed by news of an indefinite delay.

According to the Twitter statement, the official emphasized that it will rescale the game based on the foundation established by the Pune and Mumbai studios to provide the best experience of the classic remake. As for the actual launch date, no official announcement has been made yet, but as development work changes hands, fans may have to wait a little longer to see the results.
