The new Nothing Phone 1, the company’s first smartphone co-founded by David Sanmartin and Carl Pei (formerly OnePlus), will be officially unveiled on July 12, despite the fact that there is little left to reveal.
The same company had anticipated the first image of the back of the phone, because “nowadays leaks are difficult to control”, and therefore we might as well ride the wave and make the hype grow. In the past two weeks, however, the company has done much more:

gave the phone to two of the most followed tech youtubers (Marques Brownlee e Dave Leewhich the image at the top of the page belongs to), which showed the operation of the rear lighting;

announced that the phone it is not currently destined for the United Statesbecause “we want to focus on the European market”;

revealed that the processor will be a mid-range Qualcommthat is the Snapdragon 778G Plus, chosen for “the balance between performance, consumption and cost containment”.

The various leaks, and above all the start of pre-orders (with the possibility of queuing online or being invited to purchase) did the rest: the screen should be a 6.55 “FHD + OLED with 120 Hz refreshthe rear cameras should have a 50 and 16 MP sensor (probably wide angle) and the battery should be 4500 mAh, for a total weight just under 200 grams.
Discovered that (perhaps) the Nothing Phone 1 will be available not only in the white color shown so far, but also in black, the only mystery remained the price, which is undoubtedly a decisive variant. “It remained”, because Amazon Germany thought about revealing it, where a page dedicated to Carl Pei’s new smartphone appeared briefly: from what could be read, two versions will be available (with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory , or with 12 and 256), paired with Ear 1 earphones at the beginning (here our proof) and which should cost 469.99 or 549.99 euros.
If they are confirmed, they are objectively very interesting prices, but which must be related to what will be the performance of the device. Which are the only thing that leaks, rumors and indiscretions cannot anticipate.
