Promoting Well-being at Work: Tools for Emotional Management in the State Congress

The Gender Equality Unit of the State Congress of Puebla organized a talk titled “My well-being at work, everyone’s responsibility” aimed at providing staff with tools for self-care and emotional management. The conference, given by teacher Donaxi Hernández Vichido, highlighted the importance of addressing emotions and physical conditions that can affect work well-being, especially in the context of the pandemic.

Hernández emphasized the need to sensitize staff about psychosocial risks and the impact of emotional well-being on work productivity. She also discussed the challenges faced by the generation Z workforce, born between 1990 and 2000, in managing their emotional well-being at work.

The specialist in Organizational Psychology stressed the importance of detecting factors that affect emotional well-being at work and implementing strategies to improve work conditions. She emphasized the significance of managing emotions in a healthy way and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues to achieve organizational goals without emotional bias.

During the talk, Hernández provided recommendations for identifying and managing emotions effectively to promote self-care and work well-being. The event aimed to create a culture of well-being in the workplace and encourage staff to prioritize their emotional health for overall productivity and personal satisfaction.
