Vlad was 28 years old. Romanian by origin, but now Ragusano by adoption. He had lived in Ragusa since he was twelve, together with his mother and sister.

The terrible impact occurred around 1pm near the former Cineplex: an overtaking, perhaps a collision with another vehicle, and the terrible flight from the saddle of the large-displacement motorcycle on which he was traveling.
The helicopter rescue was activated, but there was nothing to be done. Vlad Kazaciuc died within minutes.
The news spread quickly: Vlad was a fitness instructor in the gym in Marina di Ragusa.
