Roadster Romance 7 was released earlier, which means that no PlayStation Studios game has announced a release date yet. That’s why the recent rumours that PlayStation will be hosting a State of Play/Showcase isn’t all that surprising. A lot of people have been asking this question, so let’s share what I’ve heard.
Our 4 usually very reliable sources at Sony and one source outside the company revealed last month that a new PlayStation State of Play or launch event is planned for next week. One of the reasons I didn’t share this with you before is that some developers who were going to show their work on the show, and even some developers at PlayStation Studios, asked to postpone the show because they didn’t want to divert the focus of the Ukrainian-Russian war. This has allegedly led to discussions on whether to delay the launch by a week or two, but at least it sounds like we’ll have some very exciting announcements from PlayStation and its partners by the end of March.
