Alarm, this morning, in Cordignano, where a fire broke out in the painting department of Triveneta Parchetti in Cordignano. A passing motorist who saw smoke coming out of the factory gave the alarm.
The timely intervention of firefighters of the Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano and Treviso detachments made it possible to limit the damage and put out the flames. In all, there are seven teams on site.
The alarm was raised shortly before 10 and the firefighters took just under an hour to extinguish the fire that also affected a portion of about ten square meters of the asbestos roof. In addition to the carabinieri of Vittorio Veneto’s company, the ARPAV technicians also arrived on site.
