EA recently confirmed that Respawn Entertainment, which launched Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2019, will develop three more Star Wars games next. One of them is the work immediately after “Organization Falls”, but it is not certain whether it will be a direct sequel. There’s also a first-person shooter from the former Star Wars Battlefront makers, and a strategy title from Respawn and Bit Reactor. The new addition to Bit Reactor is led by Greg Foertsch, who has been involved in the development of the XCOM family.
The exclusive license to develop and publish the “Star Wars” game in EA’s hands will expire next year, after which players will welcome more works from other companies. Like Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment, which is already working on an open-world game, there’s also Star Wars: Eclipse from Quantic Dream.
