When many young people begin their training on September 1st, a completely new training course will begin at Stadtsparkasse Oberhausen for the financial institution based on Wörthstrasse. The advancing digitalization not only has an impact on customers, who already handle many financial matters online, but also on employees: From September 1st, a businessman or businesswoman will be trained in digitalization management.
The three-year training is aimed at young people with a technical college entrance qualification who have a passion for IT. As part of a dual training concept, the trainee receives both theoretical training at vocational school and practical training in the company.
The training content includes, among other things, IT support for employees, advice and training in the use of IT systems, active participation in projects to further develop the IT infrastructure, and the analysis and optimization of IT processes from a commercial, technical and organizational perspective .
Digitalization management clerks: 52,000 euros annual salary
Payment is made in accordance with the collective agreement for trainees in the public service (TVAöD). In the first year of training there is 1268 euros, in the second year 1314 euros and in the third year 1377 euros. In November there is a Christmas bonus (officially called a special payment) amounting to 90 percent of the October salary. The Sparkasse offers its trainees capital-building benefits of 40 euros per month, plus travel allowances and learning material grants.
After training and a possible takeover by the savings bank, the annual salary is around 52,000 euros. That corresponds to 13.5 salaries.
