Rockstar Games previously confirmed the development of GTA VI, and in order to focus resources on this new title, they recently announced that they will be suspending major content updates for Red Dead Online.
In an article detailing the new content for GTA Online, Rockstar revealed that they are currently changing their strategy for updating content in Red Dead Online, and will stop large-scale themed updates in the future, including expert characters, missions and game modes, but still Telegram tasks will be added to the existing model.
They explained that this is to gradually transfer more development resources to the development of the next generation of GTA, hoping to launch works that “exceed player expectations”. Such resource allocations have been underway for the past few years. However, they still have not disclosed the expected launch date of GTA VI, as well as detailed information such as game content, and I believe it will take a long time to officially announce it.
