She gave it her all, we could see her commitment and desire not to look pretty on stage. Despite this, she’s not a presenter and it showsher voice (incredible when she sings) in speech is curiously annoying, the gags were over-acted with her ending up being willing but a little bit of a performer. I don’t know who helped her with the styling but it was all wrong and mortifying to her androgynous beauty. She came in dressed as sidekick of Charlie Chaplin with unlikely boots, then in a sad Charleston dress with medium heel shoes and finally with a black dress completely sleeveless and open on the back, why? Then of course, as you said Amadeus, luckily he came up with a brilliant idea months ago: to have her sing her best songs on stage. A surprising flash. And we thought he was making her ice skate! However, in the end Sanremo is Sanremo like Giorgia is Giorgia and I don’t feel like treating her too badly when there’s still a vote on the Quaquà dance.
