Schillaci, De Luca’s ‘posters are false propaganda’ ++ – Healthcare

“The posters of the Campania Region on the closure of emergency rooms are false propaganda, among other things made with public money. I remind governor De Luca that it is the duty of the Region, which he mistook for a personal megaphone, to guarantee citizens services and quality and efficient performance”. Thus the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, on the posters put up by the Region in controversy over the cohesion funds. “Now the governor – he says – abandons the cabaret and shows that he knows how to spend resources well. Have respect for the citizens: if the healthcare system in Campania doesn’t work, he takes responsibility for it”.

Schillaci also recalls, in a note, that “a few days ago this Government transferred one billion euros to Campania for the construction of a new hospital and the adaptation of many healthcare facilities”.
The posters of various sizes put up by the Region in the main cities of Campania follow the controversy over cohesion funds between the Campanian governor De Luca and the Meloni government.

Various themes are highlighted on the posters, on which the logo of the Campania Region stands out: some list a series of requests that would not have been accepted by the Government. Other posters read ‘The Meloni government closes the emergency rooms’ and ‘The Meloni government betrays the South’.
