Matt Stone and Trey Parker have joked (?) several times about canceling “South Park”, but there is no need to worry about the disappearance of this amazing universe.
ViacomCBS Inc. has announced that the company has signed a new agreement with Stone and Parker to extend to 2027. Not only does this mean that the show will be aired for at least 30 seasons, but the agreement also includes an incredible 14 movies. The important thing is that these movies will not be as big as “South Park Complete Uncensored Theatrical Edition”… and they are not cut… because 2 of the 14 “movies made for streaming” The Ministry will enter Paramount+ this year. For “South Park” fans, this is very exciting news, but it doesn’t stop there.
Lucas Shaw comes from Bloomberg, who is usually well-informed. He claims that Stone and Parker will use some of their wealth in another 3D video game in the South Park universe. He didn’t say anything other than that, so we can only wait to see if the duo will work with Ubisoft or other companies again. Either way, we will get a lot of “South Park” products in the next few years. Are you happy?
