Max Verstappen in pole position a Miami davanti to Charles Leclerc: one minute, 27 seconds and 641 thousandths for the three-time world champion who leads the Ferrari driver by 108 thousandths. They will start from the second row for the Sprint on Saturday Sergio Perez (+0.235) with the other Red Bull and a surprising (and ecstatic!) Daniel Ricciardo with the VISA Cash App RB, 403 thousandths behind the author of the pole position. Fifth time and inside the third row for the other Ferrari of Carlos Sainz (+0.462), flanked by Oscar Piastri’s McLaren (+0.520). Fourth row all in Aston Martin green instead Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonsowith the controversial Canadian so far in Miami superior to the two-time Spanish world champion. Big disappointment for Lando Norris who seemed to be the main suspect for pole position and instead did not go beyond the ninth time due to a hertor in the only time attack of SQ3: fifth row for the English McLaren driver who will find the German Nico at his side Hulkenberg (Haas powered by Ferrari).
The two Mercedes of are out of the top ten
George Russell and Lewis Hamilton who don’t make the cut of SQ2 and will start from the sixth row, despite an updated car compared to Shanghai. For the discouraged seven-time world champion there was also a light “kiss” with the right rear wheel on the wall of the curve that leads into the long return straight.
