Stop Appointments in Sardinian Healthcare Companies
In a recent development, the President of the Region Alessandra Todde has issued a directive to halt all appointments in Sardinian healthcare companies. This decision has been further emphasized by the Health Councilor, Armando Bartolazzi, in a stern communication.
The Councilor has issued a clear and concise note to cease all assignments of tasks, even in those companies that have defiantly continued to do so despite warnings from the governor. According to Bartolazzi, some companies have been disregarding the instructions and are carrying on with assigning tasks.
The reason behind this decision, as stated by the Councilor, is to prevent additional costs that could arise from these appointments. He has warned that the healthcare system could undergo partial reorganization in the near future, and as a result, it is best to hold off on any new appointments.
Some companies had recently appointed primary managers through competitions, but the regional authorities are considering a system reorganization where some positions may no longer be necessary.
Local health authorities, various AOUs, and Brotzu have been instructed not to proceed with any new appointments temporarily. This move aims to streamline the healthcare system and prevent unnecessary expenses.
It remains to be seen how this decision will impact the overall functioning of healthcare companies in Sardinia. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
