Congress for health networkers presents topics
on the future of healthcare

18th Congress of Health Networkers

The 18th Congress for Health Networkers will take place on the ESMT Berlin campus from May 15th to 16th, 2024. Under the motto Supply 2030: regional. digital. sustainable. The congress offers a platform for exchange about the future of healthcare.

The program focuses on current debates about future-oriented healthcare. The discussion about the Health Care Strengthening Act (GVSG) illustrates the importance of regionalization in current legislation. Important elements of the bill originally planned, such as health regions, primary care centers and health kiosks, were deleted from the official draft – which has led to controversial discussions about regional care.

The upcoming hospital reform will also have an impact on outpatient care. With planned changes via level 1 i-clinics or cross-sector care facilities, the outpatient provision of services will be further advanced.

In addition, digitization remains a central topic on the congress agenda, with current laws such as the Digital Act (DigiG) and the Health Data Use Act (GDNG) addressing important challenges.

Another focus is on the advancing climate change, which not only threatens the environment but also people’s health. Sustainable and climate-conscious healthcare is therefore seen as a new megatrend in healthcare.

The congress program offers a wide range of topics and formats. Discussions, workshops and guided tours enable participants to expand their network and gain in-depth insights into the future of the

to receive health care.

More than 70 renowned speakers will be represented at the congress, including, among others
