Game accessories manufacturer Turtle Beach recently announced the VelocityOne Flight flight simulation console at the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo, which can be connected to PC and Xbox consoles via USB. Although VelocityOne Flight is priced as high as US$350 (approximately HK$2,718), it also provides a fairly complete control experience.
Turtle Beach claims that the design and development of VelocityOne Flight is assisted by professional aviation engineers and pilots to ensure that it can provide a realistic flight experience. VelocityOne Flight has a 180-degree flight yoke equipped with rear rudder control, and the throttle lever adopts an integrated design, plus a full-color screen that displays information and 18 sets of customizable buttons.
In addition, VelocityOne Flight is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone output, allowing flight simulator users to be more invested. Some functions need to be upgraded through software and firmware later, and the control panel does not support vibration feedback. Turtle Beach stated that VelocityOne Flight will be available this summer, and it is expected to be launched on the Xbox Series X/S platform on July 27 with the flight simulator “Microsoft Flight Simulator”.
