Attempted sexual assault in a gym parking lot
The facts date back to yesterday, Monday 12 July. It was 7.55 in the morning when the attacker, a 31-year-old, approached his first victim in the parking lot of a gym in via Ischia di Castro, and attempted to rape her. He vehemently opened the car door for her, groped her and then tried to tear off her sweatpants, masturbating in front of her.
A few minutes after the robbery and arrest
The woman reacted by putting him on the run, but before escaping the attacker managed to snatch her bag away. A few tens of minutes later, around 8.20, the sexual predator identified his second victim in via Vallinfredda, near the Fatebenefratelli hospital. In this case he followed a woman into the street waiting for no one to pass and he robbed her, dragging her to the ground, snatching her purse and to run away again. But the race did not last long: a few minutes later he was arrested by the police who identified him after rescuing the two women. Arrested, he was translated into prison where he remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities: he will have to answer for the charges of assault, sexual violence and robbery.
