A new solidarity initiative sees the young patients in Cona hospital as protagonists. Yesterday (Tuesday 23 January 2024) the “Turlututù” group, chaired by Paolo Chieregati, delivered toys to the children staying on the wards Paediatrics, Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Oncohematology of the University Hospital of Ferrara.
To welcome the members of the association Prof. Agnese Suppiej, Director of the Pediatrics Unit of S.Annatogether with the medical and nursing staff of the pediatric departments.
“Turlututù” – declares Chieregati – it is not an association, but a group that organizes meetings for themed dinners, board games, cultural events and the like with the aim of being together “live” in a social era. We thought we would organize this game collection among all the people who frequent our group and who perhaps have grown-up children or grandchildren who no longer use toys or stuffed animals. Coming from the background of a child who spent some time in hospital, I felt, at this point in my life, that I remembered that period but gave it a positive meaning.”.
