The Collolungo of Lego inspired by the video game Horizon Forbidden West

The digital world we live in and in which we would probably be even more immersed in the future often needs analog brackets. Lego seems to have understood this perfectly, and on this he has built – it should be said – a series of adult products inspired by successful video games: the timeless Super Mario e your Princess Peachfor example, or the legendary Sonic of the 90s. For adults and children, there are also the Minecraft sets.

Thirty years after his debut, Sonic relives in the Lego set: how to ‘build’ a videogame icon

We recently saw how Lego, to make its video game-inspired products, confronts the company that developed the original video game. The new set to be released on May 1st is no exception, Horizon Forbidden West: Collolungowhich Lego has made in collaboration with Guerrilla Gamesnamely the authors of the popular series Horizon per PlayStation.

Horizon: Forbidden West and the return of Aloy, heroine of two worlds

An epic creature relives in the Lego setalso protagonist of the last chapter Horizon Forbidden West released last February: it is the Collolungo, in fact, a kind of robotic dinosaur that makes the post-apocalyptic universe in which it moves even more credible.

In the Lego catalog there is already a fascinating quadruped, straight out of a science fiction story: it is the AT-AT, the “imperial walker” from Star Wars, a huge object and also with a prohibitive cost: 800 euros.

The Collolungo made with bricks, 1222 pieces to be precise, in its small way it is just as iconic. And you can take it home by spending much less. The lower cost, among other things, does not affect the result: we are talking about a piece with which theoretically you can play, but which certainly lends itself in particular to being exhibited.

The Collolungo signed Lego is 34 centimeters high and is incredibly faithful to the original. His slender figure rests on a ‘piece’ of the Horizon world. The base in fact includes the same vegetation and two key characters: Aloythe heroine of the videogame, and one of the Watcherthe so-called Velociraptor Remembrance Observers.

Aloy is equipped with his weapons, the Watcher can change the color of his eye (red, yellow and blue). The whole set takes up 23cm in width and 17cm in depth.
